A first taste of forest school

June 2019

Today at Muddy Munchkins was a very special day, took 12 piglets out for their first taste of forest school. We laid another shape and number trail through the woods and led the new children around Dudsbury.

First of all I would like to say a big well done to the little ones! It is not easy having such a big change in routine but they all rose to the challenge and got very muddy with us! They were brave in their scrambling up and sliding down hills and other challenges they have never faced. In the afternoon we laid out our cargo net and the children crawled through as fast as they could while others played with the sled.

Secondly, to our amazing Friday Muddy Munchkins deserve a big high five and a thank you. We had talked about how when they started at M. M. It could be a little bit scary, so they did their very best to help all the piglets along and show them how forest school is really done! Very proud of our current munchkins, and excited for the new recruits next year!
